为什么ATP排名的官方英文叫Emirates ATP Rankings，和酋长国有什么关系？

ATP（国际网球联合会）排名的官方英文名是"Emirates ATP Rankings"，与酋长国有密切的关系。迪拜是阿联酋的首都，而阿联酋是一个重要的旅游和商业中心。在迪拜，ATP举办了一系列大型体育赛事，包括网球锦标赛、足球赛等。ATP排名的官方名称中包含了" Emirates"二字，以纪念迪拜的地理位置和历史。

为什么ATP排名的官方英文叫“Emirates ATP Rankings”，与酋长国有什么关系？

ATP Rankings前的Emirates指阿联酋航空。

ATP职业（男子）网球协会，很聪明，早早就把"ATP Rankings"冠名权卖了出去，这个官方参赛系统排名榜（又叫ATP世界排名榜），一直是ATP官方网站平均点击率最高的内容。

【阿联酋航空】2013年成为ATP Rankings的冠名赞助商，当时是ATP铂金级别的合作伙伴。

仅仅三年过去，这个发展迅猛，在全球体坛很多地方都能看到“她”的身影的航空公司来了——2016年开始，阿联酋航空一举取代墨西哥啤酒品牌科罗娜，成为ATP世界巡回赛的顶级赞助商（当然也是指定航空公司了），双方公布的合作期限为5年，现在是第三个年头。

其他领域不太清楚，个人知道阿联酋航空应该是两支超牛足球队的赞助商 ——西甲的皇家马德里和法甲的大巴黎，巴黎圣日耳曼的财大气粗，跟来自阿联酋的银子保障有很大的关系。

网球赛事方面，这个航空公司一直是本地迪拜锦标赛、四大满贯除了拒绝赞助商的温网外的三个、加拿大大师赛等赛事的赞助商。

举个例子，这几年的一些大赛上尤其是年终总决赛，冠军颁奖典礼上的礼仪小姐，正是阿联酋航空的空姐。

New President Chris Kermode in 2014 took over the management of ATP after his time as a professional player and as the director of the Queen’s Cup during the warm-up match for the Wimbledon Championships, and then as the manager of the London Masters final for four years before leaving office in 2013.

ATP now operates globally in about 30 countries, hosting more than 70 different levels of tournaments. These events draw an average of around 500,000 spectators and have approximately 8 billion media viewers annually.

In the past, ATP's largest sponsor was Mercedes-Benz, which we frequently saw on ATP tours, with each tournament featuring a large Mercedez-Benz logo on the net. However, it expired and did not continue to receive funding, resulting in economic difficulties.

Now, ATP's top sponsors include Emirates Airlines, French flag PEUGEOT, and鳄鱼 LACOSTE, among others. Different tournaments have their own independent sponsors and professional class partners.
