is, am, are的区别是什么?
它们在用法上有很大的区别：
1、am的用法:
I am (我是)，可以缩写为I'm，但am和not不能缩写。
第二人称 you 可以用作 I 的替代，如: you are (你也是)
第三人称 he/she/it 可以用作 I 的替代，如: he is (他/她/它也)
复数名词后可以跟 are 或 are not:
second person plural you -> you are / you are not
first person plural we -> we are / we are not
third person plural they -> they are / they are not

复数名词后可以跟 are 或 are not:

first person plural we -> we are / we are not
third person plural they -> they are / they are not
3、is的用法:
第三人称单数后可以跟 is 或 is not:
first person singular i -> i am / i am not
第二人称 singular you -> you are / you are not
第三人称 singular he/she/it -> he/she/it is / he/she/it is not
四、be动词的形式不同：
1、am 是动词 be 的第一人称形式。
如: I am filled with the desire to go back home.
心中充满了回家的欲望。
2、are 现在是系动词 be，用于第二人称或复数。
如: There are enough people to do the job.
有足够的人做这项工作。
3、is 是 be 的第三人称单数。
如: Spain is our favorite holiday spot.
西班牙是我们最喜欢的度假胜地。
五、变形不同：
1、过去的 is 是 was。
2、am 就是原型。
3、are 的过去式是 was。
