Early last Sunday morning, my friends and I decided to embark on a brief journey to the nearby Xingqing Park. We took the No. 8 bus at the school gate, and our chatter and laughter filled the air as we rode along.
After about fifteen minutes, we arrived at the park. As we approached the entrance, we noticed that there was no admission fee required. The park was brimming with visitors of all ages, from children frolicking in the playground to elderly couples strolling along the pathways, enjoying the serene atmosphere.
We strolled around the park, picking up litter carelessly discarded by some visitors. It was heartening to witness so many people enjoying themselves in such a beautiful and pristine space. The sights and sounds of nature, combined with the laughter and joy of others, made our hearts sing.
By the end of our trip, we felt rejuvenated and content, having spent a special day in Xingqing Park. We knew in our hearts that this place would forever hold a special place in our memories.
